SDA/OC Seminar – Business Development Moving Forward: Proactive Practices for a Post-COVID World

If 2020 has shown us anything, it’s that we can’t count on “normal” anymore. Through a series of interviews with expert business developers and industry thought leaders, SMPS Fellow & Past Society President Brad Thurman will reveal ways that business development may change in the coming years and how firms can effectively position themselves by understanding the market and developing a flexible strategy to keep business development plans in motion. This session will provide attendees with bonus material on unique ways to connect with clients while working remotely.

SPEAKER
Brad Thurman, PE, FSMPS, CPSM – Principal, Marketing & Business Development, Wallace Engineering Structural Consultants, Inc. As Chief Marketing Officer, Brad directs marketing and business development for Wallace Engineering. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architectural Engineering degrees from Oklahoma State University, and is licensed as a Professional Engineer. Brad served as the 2013-2014 National President of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, is a Trustee and Past President of the SMPS Foundation, and serves on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Oklahoma State University School of Architecture.
